HP Introduces 15 Inch Chromebook For $449


HP has come out with the biggest Chromebook it has ever made. As the name suggests, the HP Chromebook 15 has a 15 inch touchscreen display with a full-size keyboard and number pad. It joins the likes of ASUS and Lenovo that have also released 15 inch notebooks that are powered by Google’s cloud-based Chrome OS.

HP has confirmed that prices for the Chromebook 15 start at $449. Under the hood you get an Intel Pentium Gold 4417U processor with 4GB of DDR5 RAM and 64GB of storage. It also has B&O dual speakers, an HD webcam, and a backlit keyboard.

Connectivity options include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, a microSD card slot, 2 USB 3.1 ports and one USB 3.1 port, etc. The company says that it’s good for up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge but your mileage may vary in the real world.
