Apple apps crashing on iPhones for confused users – and Facebook is to blame

UPDATE: Facebook has now confirmed that the issue with its software developer kit have now been resolved, and iOS apps are no longer crashing.

Facebook has now confirmed that it was behind the outage, due to an issue with its iOS Software Developer Kit (SDK).

Mirror Online has contacted Apple for comment.

One user tweeted: “Most of my apps are crashing, the hell is going on Apple.”

Another added: “Apple hello! Why apps didn’t work on iPhone ? All crashing.”

And one wrote: “Anyone else having an issue with games on their iPhone this morning? Most of mine crash upon opening (yes, software and apps are up to date).”
